Adjacent to the kitchen is the spacious dining room, set beneath a stunning original stone-vaulted ceiling. Once a cow barn, it’s now one of the most elegant and character-filled rooms in the house.
The space has been lovingly restored, with traditional terracotta tomette tiles underfoot and rustic, charming furniture throughout. Two striking antique carved teak pillars from India frame the transition between the kitchen and dining area, adding a unique architectural touch.
At either end of the room, you’ll find cosy sitting areas—perfect for reading, relaxing, or enjoying a quiet conversation—one of them nestled beside a large wood-burning stove for extra warmth and atmosphere.
Large double doors open directly onto the courtyard, making indoor-outdoor living easy, while a cloakroom and guest toilet are tucked discreetly off the back of the room for convenience.
