    Cycling

The Ardeche is made for cycling - quiet winding roads, forested climbs, and sweeping descents through valleys and villages. From Fabrias, you can ride gentle riverside routes along the Ardeche and Volane valleys, or take on more challenging circuits into the Monts D’Ardeche with rewarding mountain views. You’ll find endless possibilities for road, gravel and e-bike adventures - always with a cafe or swim stop just around the corner…

  • A woman standing on a rocky ledge overlooking a canyon with a river, trees, and cliffs, during sunset.

    Hiking

The local area, the Monts d’Ardèche Regional Nature Park is a hiker’s paradise — a landscape of ancient volcanoes, chestnut forests, waterfalls and panoramic ridgelines. Trails wind through peaceful hamlets and open plateaus, offering everything from gentle riverside walks to challenging summit climbs.

  • A cheese and charcuterie platter with grapes, baked pizza, and assorted cheeses, two glasses of rosé wine, and two glasses of water on an outdoor table against a stone wall and trees.

    Food & Wine

Taste local Ardèche wines (especially rosé from the southern Rhône), goat cheeses, chestnut specialties and seasonal truffles. Ask us for restaurant recommendations!

  • People shopping and dining outdoors at a market square in front of a historic stone castle with conical roofs and colorful buildings under a clear blue sky.

    Aubenas

The nearest town and a lively hub for the region. Explore the medieval château, browse boutiques, and don’t miss the Saturday morning market — one of the best in the Ardèche for local produce, cheeses, and crafts.

  • Scenic view of a stone bridge arch over a calm river in a lush green forested mountainous area.

    Pont du Diable

This spectacular stone bridge — the “Devil’s Bridge” — crosses the volcanic gorge of the Ardèche river. It’s a great spot for swimming, cliff views, or a picnic by the water, and there are plenty of via ferrata routes on hand for the adrenaline-seekers.

  • A hillside village with stone houses, some with balconies and plants, built on a steep terrain. There is an old stone arch bridge in the foreground, with greenery and vines growing along its edges.

    Jaujac

A “Village de Caractère,” Jaujac combines cobbled lanes, basalt lava flows, and beautiful walks through volcanic landscapes. Locals gather in the picturesque main square for a beer and some pétanque, and the nearby river beach is blissful for a refreshing dip.
