Stone-vaulted ceiling and views across the valley
With its beautiful stone-vaulted ceiling and large windows overlooking the valley, the Library is a peaceful, light-filled space. It’s a flexible room that can be used for a number of purposes.
There’s a large table in the centre and a writing desk in the corner. There’s a reasonable collection of fiction and non-fiction books. on the shelves - plenty more up in the Music Room.
There’s an enormous fireplace, complete with original 17th-century carvings and direct access to the courtyard or through another door into the Lalevade wing. There’s a toilet/bathroom a few steps away.
